Australia January 2004

Well here are a few Shots from my time in Aus. A great chance to relax, reflect and most importantly catch up with Friends and Family!

BBQ's and Beers!
With the warm weather it was a good time to get out and enjoy a cool drink and a BBQ somewhere near water!

The great outdoors
Some of the locals over here are concerned about the dangerous wildlife in Aus. Not sure what they are worried about. The lizards may be 2m long and the local dogs may fly at times, but they are all very friendly! The black photo is not actually just black. Just shows the beautiful night skies up at Rainbow.

The sporting life!
Living in Australia it is important that you are good at sports. I confirmed at the driving range, that is 1 very good reason why I should stay in Euorpe :)

The beach!

What would a trip be to Aus with out 1,2 or maybe daily trips to the beach. Here are some shots from Rainbow beach and the gold coast.

Back in Germany!

Things are a little bit cooler over here. Watching the thermometer in the car drop to -17 degrees is a little strange. 1 word of advice though, don't breath in too fast or you might find that the inside of your nose freezes over! Days have been quite beautiful and sunny ranging between 0 and 15 degrees. More from Germany next time.
