The First Week Updates

Tuesday 1 June AM:
Jade is in good health. She has a tube to assist her with feeding, and is in a phototherapy unit for a few days to treat Jaundice (very common in premmie babies).

Friday 4 June PM:
Jade has progressed from the Special Care Nursery up to the ward where she can be with Jo. We are hopeful they will both be home on Sunday.
Jade was out from phototherapy briefly but relapsed and has been receiving further treatment, but should be out into an open cot on Saturday.
Mum and Dad are both tired!

Sunday 6 June PM:
We are home!!!
Jade is on short feeding intervals so the family is trying to catch up on some sleep.
We are still keen to start catching up with people when we have time, but please be aware that Jades immune system is still developing so we can't have any visitors with a cold or the flu etc.
